HISTORY
ROOTMINE closure
ROOTWIN announced the closure of ROOTMINE, marking the end of one of the project's game directions and helping the team refocus resources.
On 26 December 2023 a short message from the team appeared in the community chat: ROOTMINE is closed.
ROOTMINE was a ROOTWIN gaming direction that continued the line of the project’s early Minecraft server. The team did not share details about the reasons for closure or any further plans in its public messages.
Context
The announcement of ROOTMINE’s closure came during the same period when ROOTWIN was actively developing other directions: the ROOTBOT premium subscription and the collaboration with CheStor. Gaming projects appear to have gradually lost priority to bots and infrastructure services — a trend that later, in 2026, became an official course toward an independent platform.
