Project history: ROOTWIN MC game server launch

1 min read

ROOTWIN MC became one of the project’s first gaming directions. The server launched as a standalone Minecraft space with a griefing mode, an economy, clans, and its own community.

What was inside

For players, the server offered a clear set of mechanics:

  • clans and territorial rivalry;
  • an internal economy;
  • PvP and griefing activity;
  • dedicated communities on VK and Discord;
  • a connection to the main ROOTWIN community.

Why it matters

ROOTWIN MC was an early test of whether the project could support not just a Telegram channel but a separate infrastructure with its own rules, audience, moderation, and technical support.

The experience of running a game server later fed back into how the team developed its community, bots, and activity systems inside ROOTCHAT.
