Community Rules
Official rules of the ROOTCHAT community. By participating, you agree to follow them.
Good day, monsieur. I ask you to observe etiquette and rules, respect all chat members and behave like a gentleman.
Observe etiquette
All chat members must follow generally accepted norms of etiquette and conduct.
Respect others
Any indecent, offensive or threatening statements directed at the families of other members and people outside the chat are unacceptable.
No spam
Flooding and spam, including stickers, messages and reactions, are prohibited.
Respect the administration
Profanity and insults directed at administrators and moderators are prohibited.
No provoking punishment
Deliberate actions to provoke administrative reaction — aggressive behavior, provocative statements, conflict-inducing actions — are prohibited.
Confidentiality
Disclosing personal information of other members is prohibited. Also prohibited: sharing your own personal information or information about people not present in the chat.
No alt accounts to bypass punishment
Using alt accounts to circumvent a ban or mute is considered punishment evasion and violates chat rules.
No hate or discrimination
Statements perceived as offensive or degrading based on race, religion, gender, age, nationality or sexual orientation are strictly prohibited. This also applies to bot usage and profile content in the chat.
No misinformation
False information can mislead members and cause unnecessary disputes or panic.
No conflict provocation
Avoid topics that can cause conflicts between members. Includes discussing military politics.
No emoji/sticker abuse
Excessive use of emoji or stickers in one message is considered spam. Stickers that may cause Telegram to malfunction are also prohibited.
Don't scare new members
Threats, blackmail, trolling or other behaviors that may frighten or push away new members are prohibited. Welcome and help them instead.
Admin mutual respect
Administrators may argue among themselves only within the bounds of mutual respect. Even with informal language, admins must not cross into real insults. All other chat rules remain mandatory.
Prohibited videos
Do not send videos containing blood, cruelty to living beings, violence, terrorism, or any other content that may cause disgust. No videos with body injuries or 18+ content.
No 18+ or dangerous content
Avoid all topics that may negatively affect physical or psychological health: drugs, alcohol, violence, crime. Sending or requesting 18+ content is strictly prohibited. Discussion of self-harm or suicide is also prohibited.
Constructive criticism
Criticism without constructive improvement suggestions is considered unconstructive. Always provide solutions alongside criticism.
No psychological pressure or bullying
Attempts at psychological influence via emoji, reactions or other means are prohibited. Any form of bullying, demeaning behavior or dominance over other members is prohibited.
Show respect
All administrators, including those without moderation rights, must write "dobri" or "добри" before writing to a member for the first time or when a new member appears in the chat.
No doxing threats
Any threats, hints or attempts to reveal personal information of chat members without their consent (doxing) are prohibited. Also prohibited: threats of hacking, data leaks, or compromising material distribution.
No unsolicited DMs
Members are prohibited from sending invitations or messages to other users in private without their explicit consent. Mass messaging is also prohibited.
Multiple & Repeated Violations
Repeated violations result in escalating punishments. Serious violations may result in a permanent ban with approval from higher administration. For multiple simultaneous rule violations, the first punishment remains unchanged; each subsequent punishment adds 20% to its original duration.
INTERPOL System
Any chat may file a request to punish a member of another chat. The request must be thoroughly substantiated. Curators review the request and take appropriate action. In disputed cases, a court is held. Applications may be submitted to any ROOTCHAT administrator.
