TheOneTranslator and ROOTWIN begin AutoBuild development
ROOTWIN and TheOneTranslator began joint development of AutoBuild, a tool that automates routine Ren'Py mod assembly tasks such as file preparation, structure checks, and project builds.
On 4 June 2026 ROOTWIN PROJECT and the localization team TheOneTranslator began joint development of AutoBuild.
How the idea appeared
When localizing Ren’Py mods, builders repeat the same work again and again: prepare files, check structure, build the project, verify that nothing was lost, and repeat it after new edits.
ROOTWIN proposed automating that process. TheOneTranslator provided real production context, test cases, and feedback from people who work with localizations every day.
