RenDoki v1.0 beta release
On 18 May 2026 ROOTWIN released RenDoki v1.0 beta — a tool that automates localization work for Ren'Py projects, from preparing files to translation blocks. It launched on Itch.io and Reddit as the first public step of a new tool line for the DDLC/Ren'Py community.

What RenDoki solves
When localizing mods, assemblers have to unpack archives, prepare files, keep translation blocks in order, and check project structure. RenDoki takes on part of that work and makes the process more repeatable.
In the beta, the team focused on a basic workflow:
- preparing localization materials;
- working with Ren’Py project files;
- reducing manual busywork;
- a practical starting point for further AutoBuild integration.
Launch
After release the tool was presented on external platforms, including Itch.io and Reddit. It became the first public step of ROOTWIN’s new line for the DDLC/Ren’Py community.
