Results of the partnership with TheOneTranslator
We are happy to share a result we are genuinely proud of. 🎉
ROOTWIN PROJECT and TheOneTranslator have signed an agreement for comprehensive cooperation. This marks the start of a large-scale partnership that includes continued development of the mod auto-build tool, as well as the use of other ROOTWIN PROJECT software with clear attribution.
How it began
It all started on 10 May, when ROOTWIN PROJECT first showed the TheOneTranslator team our auto-builder — a tool that frees localizers from days of tedious build work. Just 5 days later, on 15 May, we signed the official partnership agreement.
Timeline of the collaboration
What followed was several months of close joint work:
- 5–12 June — the TheOneTranslator team (builders and the Senior Translator) ran the first serious round of testing on AutoBuild v1.0
- 15 June — the second testing stage began
- 17 June — a major update shipped: AutoBuild v1.1 BEST, with bug fixes and a detailed deployment guide
Result
On 4 July we happily announced that the second testing stage had been completed successfully through our shared effort and enthusiasm.
About the partnership
TheOneTranslator is a team of professional localizers helping develop AutoBuild and other ROOTWIN PROJECT tools. The collaboration is grounded in real production needs: tools get tested on live projects, which makes them practical and reliable.
The partnership includes:
- joint development and improvement of the auto-builder
- using and adapting the software
- supporting the DDLC modding community in the CIS region
We keep working together: improving the tools and supporting the DDLC community in the CIS region.
