UPDATE

SafeDigitalBot updates

1 min read

The ROOTWIN PROJECT team rolled out a series of updates to SafeDigitalBot — a tool for private file sharing, QR code generation, and basic digital security checks.

What the updates included

  • Self-destructing files: users can set a file’s lifespan from one minute to one year. Once the timer runs out, the system automatically deletes the file from the server.
  • QR generation 2.0: separate modes for file links and plain text, a higher limit, and more predictable handling of long messages.
  • Password strength auditing: entropy-based scoring, an estimated crack time, and a clear strength scale.
  • Random value generator: built around cryptographically strong generation and careful handling of temporary data.

Why it matters for the project

SafeDigitalBot became one of ROOTWIN’s practical directions — not just a news channel or chat, but a useful service that solves everyday problems for users. The update reinforced the project’s course toward privacy, file control, and simple security tools without a complicated interface.
