ANNOUNCEMENT
ROOTWIN PROJECT reboot and the path toward an independent platform
ROOTWIN announced a reboot and a new strategic direction: moving from Telegram dependency toward an independent platform with web services, desktop tools, and browser tools. Privacy and control over user data became key priorities.
On 13 March 2026 ROOTWIN PROJECT announced a reboot and a new strategic direction. The team marked a temporary pause for several older directions and a move toward more autonomous infrastructure.
Why the course changed
Past experience showed that Telegram is convenient for quick launches, communities, and bots, but full dependence on an external platform limits growth. Long-term services need their own technical foundation.
New priorities
At the center of the new phase:
- building an independent platform;
- moving key scenarios out of Telegram into standalone web services;
- developing desktop and browser tools;
- strengthening privacy and user control over their own data;
- preparing a new ROOTWIN product line.
What’s next
The reboot doesn’t mean abandoning the project’s history. On the contrary, the team is taking what it learned from ROOTBOT, SafeDigitalBot, and SFX to build a more resilient ecosystem.
This stage marked a turning point: from a set of separate Telegram initiatives to independent platform development.
