«Tools should be built together with the people who use them every day.»
Shipped September 5, 2026, with flexible team-link configuration via rules.yaml and fixed build crashes — built on feedback from TheOneTranslator.
June 5–12 and June 15 – July 4, the team ran the bundler against real builds, surfacing bugs that never show up in a clean test setup.
The testing cycles led to a production-ready release of AutoBuild, hardened on real-world mod builds.
One of the oldest groups in the Russian-speaking DDLC fandom — a translation archive, historical write-ups, and an active community for eight straight years.
TheOneTranslator localizes visual novels and Ren’Py mods at real production pace — small fan patches and large titles. That is why their feedback hurts in a useful way: they know which “simple” assembler step actually eats two nights.
The VK group was founded on February 10, 2018 by Kirill Zatsepin (Slowly505), who announced the start of DDLC mod translations. A Discord server followed shortly after, on March 22, 2018. The first translation releases shipped in April–June 2018, and the community has since grown into one of the oldest and largest in the Russian-speaking DDLC fandom.
The team is one of the oldest and largest communities in the Russian DDLC fandom, specializing in translating foreign mods and creating original projects on the Ren’Py engine. Their main hub is a VK group with news, completed translations, and historical articles about the Russian DDLC fandom. They also have an official website with a translation archive and a Telegram channel.
Beyond translations, the team and authors connected to it regularly release their own Ren’Py mods. The full list is on the official site’s mods page; recent releases include:
Authors from the TheOneTranslator circle also ship their own projects: TheOneDeveloper (hazhmi) released “A Year with Yuri” (2024, full release), about a protagonist who moves from the US to Japan and the relationship that follows, and the Divine Creators team made Doki Doki Great Sur(prise) Remastered (2023), a surreal story about relocating to Japan as reality slowly comes apart at the seams.
ROOTWIN showed them an auto-assembler on 10 May 2026. A cooperation agreement was signed on 15 May. From there the work was concrete: two testing rounds of AutoBuild (5–12 June, then from 15 June through 4 July), a shared v1.1 BEST release, and a stack centered on AutoBuild.
The work didn’t stop there: on September 5, 2026, AutoBuild v1.2 shipped — with flexible team-link configuration via rules.yaml, fixed build crashes, and an updated interactive guide.
The partnership is about:
Thanks to TheOneTranslator’s active participation, AutoBuild became more practical and reliable. Their feedback helps refine functionality and make automation truly useful for production work — from the first beta releases through the current v1.2.
