ROOTWIN and FireBrute merger

1 min read

On 30 November 2021 ROOTWIN and FireBrute merged into one structure. This marked the shift from separate initiatives to a single team with one name, one audience, and one direction of development.

What changed

After the merger, the team could bring technical content, development work, Telegram infrastructure, and future services together in one place. FireBrute contributed its experience publishing guides and working with Linux/Termux tools, while ROOTWIN became the name for the broader ecosystem.

Result

The merger helped the project move toward more systematic work:

  • a shared audience formed;
  • the team began preparing its own bots and utilities;
  • chats, channels, and feedback loops grew stronger;
  • the project gained a foundation for later experiments with search, a browser, ROOTBOT, and community building.

From this point on, ROOTWIN developed not as a single channel but as a project team.
