ROOTBOT: open beta and internal economy

In December 2022 Ban_Root_bot moved into open beta testing. It was one of the most active stages of ROOTBOT’s development: a simple chat tool began turning into a full interactive system.

What appeared

The beta version introduced:

  • a virtual economy — ROOTCOINS / ROOTMONEYS;
  • promo codes and giveaways;
  • mini-casino games and cases;
  • in-game groups;
  • ranking, activity, and in-chat action mechanics.

Why it mattered for the project

Open beta gave the team constant feedback from real users. Many features were tested directly in chats: some stuck around, some were reworked, and part of the mechanics were later removed in favor of a more serious focus on moderation.

This period became an important lab for ROOTWIN: the team learned to ship features quickly, listen to its audience, and build the product around a living community.
